Dialogue McGill

Better Communication for Better Care

Dialogue McGill has three programs that are designed to help train, recruit, and retain health and social services professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide services in English in Quebec.

The Language Training Program for professional purposes is designed to better equip the Health and Social Services network to provide language services that meet the needs of Quebec’s English- and French-speaking communities.

The Recruitment and Retention Program supports initiatives to increase the capacity of health and social service professionals in Quebec. As such, Dialogue McGill provides funding to community networks, educational institutions and other organizations to implement activities and strategies that help recruit and retain professionals in Quebec.

Dialogue McGill also supports research projects to address access and delivery of health and social services to English-speaking communities in Quebec. Dialogue McGill also conducts program evaluation for all its initiatives using evidence-based approaches and various knowledge translation activities.
