Julie Lapointe, PhD
Dr. Julie Lapointe is an occupational therapist and has practiced for six years in Québec. She completed her Master’s degree in Epidemiology (2008) and a Ph.D. in Pharmaco-epidemiology (2012) from Université Laval. She obtained the inaugural Research Analyst / Fellowship of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) in 2012-2013. She also obtained a postdoctoral training fellowship with the Psychosocial Oncology Research Training (PORT) program and a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) for her project on the prevention of osteoporosis and fragility fractures in women with breast cancer under the supervision of Dr. Carmen G. Loiselle.
